You know how to do your role well.
Building a practice is the part no one showed you.
6–8 allied health practitioners working through the business side of practice · together in real time.
Every session is shaped by where participants actually are. Not slides. Not a fixed curriculum. Conversation.
Pricing, structure, systems, and legal considerations shaped for the New Zealand practice environment.
It's the numbers and decisions behind your practice that feel uncertain.
No one is having these conversations early enough. And by the time most practitioners look for help, they've already made costly decisions without a proper framework.
Tangible shifts in how you understand and navigate the business of your work.
A clear, defensible framework for setting and holding your rates · not just a number you've guessed at.
Understand your financial position well enough to make real decisions.
Understand your obligations, structure options, and what questions to ask your accountant or lawyer.
A small group of practitioners who've been in the same room and had the same conversations as you.
Designed for practitioners in private practice, not a lecture theatre.
We don't arrive with slides.
We arrive with questions.
Most programmes are built before you arrive. Ours is built around you once you're in the room. A survey before each session shapes the content. Your actual situation drives the conversation.
Before each session, participants share where they're at. Content is shaped around the real questions in the room.
Sessions respond to what participants are actually navigating · not a curriculum written six months ago.
This isn't a seminar. It's a structured conversation between practitioners who are in it together.
Six to eight people means you're known by name, not a participant number. Depth over scale.
Built for the way NZ allied health practitioners actually work · not adapted from an overseas model.
Pricing, structure, ACC, and operational questions framed for the New Zealand environment · not generic international frameworks.
Six to eight people means real conversation. Not a webinar. Not a lecture. A room where everyone knows why they're there.
Learning alongside practitioners in similar positions matters. The cohort model creates accountability without judgment.
This programme is built by clinicians who have navigated the same decisions. Not by business coaches who haven't.
Built by clinicians who have navigated this themselves.
This is a pilot. The first cohort helps shape what this becomes. We're building it with the people in it · not presenting a finished product.
First cohort. Intentionally minimal. Built alongside participants · not handed down to them.
Six to eight people only. The size is the point. Depth requires it.
The first cohort's experience directly informs how this develops. You're not joining something finished.
We'll review each application personally.
We're selecting a small pilot group of practitioners who are serious about building well from the start. Tell us a little about where you are right now.

There is a consistent gap between clinical training and practice-building readiness. This programme exists to close it · in a way that respects how practitioners actually work and learn.
Allied health training prepares practitioners to deliver excellent clinical care. It does not prepare them to run a business. Pricing, systems, legal structure, financial clarity · these conversations happen too late, or not at all.
The Practice Project is built around a simple belief: that small groups of practitioners learning together · with honest conversation, NZ context, and sessions shaped by real need · is more useful than any course or consultant could be.
We're starting small on purpose. The pilot cohort shapes what this becomes.
